2011 Panini Gold Standard Football box review.
61Hobby Box review.
Panini has certainly made a comeback recently and 2011 Panini Gold Standard just proves that they're not slowing down. With 5 hits per box in one pack, it's one of the most enjoyable pack breaks I've done, you have chances at a lot of great cards in these $200 dollar boxes, even chances at cards with real genuine chunks of gold in them, overall this is an awesome set and one of the hottest around right now in the hobby, I give this set a 4 out of 5 on account of two drawbacks, one minor and one major, the minor being the see through clear pack inside, I'm not a fan of this at all but that's just me , The major drawback being the pricetag, although a chance at great cards is there , If you don't land a Cam Newton or a Gold Chunk card, you're most likely losing money on this box.
I pulled the following from my box
- 2 Rookie Autos
- 1 Auto patch card
- 1 Thurman Thomas Jersey card
- 1 prime swatch card /25
Not bad cards but they weren't worth the $200, I still think this set is worth investing in though and advise any sports card freaks to go out and buy one.
